For benign prostate disorders we offer full evaluation capabilities, and for benign prostate surgeries we hold the newest closed saline resectoscopes for the elimination of TURP complication during prostate evaporation. All traditional open procedures are performed regularly as well. For prostate cancer we offer a designated sonar system for biopsy and diagnostics, and for the treatment of prostate cancer we offer surgical options and internal radiation -brachytherapy.
Diagnosis and treatment of the infertile couple is provided by a collaborative team, together with the gynecology infertility unit. A pediatric urology service is also available – see Department of Pediatric Urology under Meyer Children’s Hospital.
