The Obstetrics and Gynecology Division includes under its auspices all of the healthcare issues related to women and mothers. It provides the full range of gynecological, obstetric and pre-natal services including pre-natal diagnoses, high risk pregnancies, ultrasound, fertility and onco-gynecology. The division's In-Vitro-Fertilization (IVF) Unit is renowned for its high rate of successful pregnancies.
The division is one of the largest in Rambam Healthcare Campus, and includes a team of 40 physicians, some 100 nurses and 90 inpatient beds, 6 professional units and research laboratories. The labor and delivery rooms were designed to maximize the comfort of the patients, featuring the most advanced equipment and options for natural childbirth.
The division team is trained in the wide range of diagnostics and treatments required; it aims to provide optimal medical services with the highest emphasis on quality of care, emphasizing respect and wellbeing of the patients, so that they and their families can experience their treatment in the most positive way.
The division includes:
• The Gynecology and Endoscopic Surgery Unit – diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of disorders
• The Onco-Gynecology Unit – treating women with gynecological malignancies
• The Ultrasound Unit – diagnostic and consultation services for all of the division's activities, including ultrasound for pregnant women
• The IVF Unit and Sperm Bank – providing the entire range of services related to infertility and fertility.
