The division for Clinical Electrophysiology provides a wide range of diagnosis and treatment for disorders of the rhythm of the heart (arrhythmias). The staff of the EP division provides treatment for a wide range of patients including those with slow rhythm disorders (bradycardia), in some cases requiring implantation of a pacemaker, as well as patients with fast rhythm disorders (tachycardia), which in some cases require a catheter radiofrequency ablation, or in other cases, implantation of special pacemakers -  ICD (  Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators), as well as novel special devices for treating heart failure - CRT ( Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy).

The division team makes extensive use of the most advanced technologies, including the Holter Loop Recorder for monitoring heart rhythm, treating damaged heart tissue using radio waves, and diagnostic electrophysiological catheterization. The division is one of the most experienced in the country in the use of three-dimensional mapping of the heart (Cartro Merge), for diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, and other kinds of disorders.

The division team is involved in many of the studies being carried out in its field, notable of which are a series of studies on new approaches for diagnosing diseases of the right ventricle using electro-anatomic mapping, and a study of techniques for mapping and ablation of the left atrium in patients with atrial fibrillation.
