The Institute for Periodic Examinations is the core of the Center for Preventive Medicine. We perform comprehensive medical testing for healthy subjects with the purpose of detecting and treating modifiable risk factors which may lead to disease development, particularly heart disease, stroke, early detection of cancer, and more.
The institute embraces the vision of the Rambam (Moses Maimonides), who was a pioneer in the approach to preventive medicine, and after whom the healthcare campus is named. Individuals examined at our institute have access to the top physicians at Rambam - experts in internal medicine, cardiology, sports medicine and occupational health, and to the most advanced diagnostic and imaging equipment.
The institute serves the healthy population of men and women (usually over age 40), comprised mainly of company employees and private clients. We offer a comprehensive basket of tests, tailored to each subject according to gender, age, and family history. It comprises simple blood tests through angio-CTs of the coronary arteries, in two packages: a basic package of mandatory tests, and an expanded package according to the client's request.
The tests are carried out over the course of several hours, under one roof. In the event that any of the test findings require the attention of a physician, the entire Rambam Healthcare Campus is available for such purpose.
