Dr. Sara Weltfriend is a graduate of the School of Medicine in Milano, Italy and of the Dermatology Residency Program at Rabin Medical Center. Dr. Weltfriend is the Associate Director of the Department of Dermatology. For the last 10 years Dr. Weltfriend has been in charge of the Contact Dermatitis Clinic. Before establishing the clinic she trained at the Contact Clinic, St. Johns Dermatology Centre, St Thomas' Hospital, London and during 1994 she was a Dermatology Fellow, at the Department of Dermatology, University of California, San Francisco, studying Irritant Dermatitis. Since then she has written the chapter on Irritant Dermatitis for the Dermatotoxicology book which is considered the definitive reference book in the field. Dr. Weltfriend is a member of the European and American Contact Dermatitis Societies.
