Professor Yoram Vardi is a urologist.
He earned his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and performed his fellowship in sexual dysfunction and neurology at Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts.

His main research interest is the neurophysiology and pharmacology of erectile dysfunction.
In recent years, he has focused on the investigation of female sexual dysfunction and is internationally renowned for his achievements in the field of sexual medicine.

Professor Vardi has authored over 100 journal articles and several book chapters.
He is a member of many professional societies, a referee for several medical journals and serves on the editorial board of the European Urology and Sexual Medicine Journals.
He is a member of the executive committees of international societies and serves as a member of the WHO committee on the management and treatment of male and female sexual dysfunction.
