Yael Rozen is head of the Research and Development Unit at the Rambam Medical Center. Dr Rozen is responsible for the organization and management of Rambam's external and internal research activity and technology transfer. She is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture, M.Sc in Biotechnology, MBA and PhD in Environmental Microbiology. During her studies Dr. Rozen participated in several research projects leading to publications in scientific journals in the fields of molecular biology and environmental sciences.
Following her studies, Dr. Rozen worked as a researcher in the Antibodies Unit at Alomon Labs, and as a trainee, writing patent applications at a patent attorney office. Before joining Rambam, she directed the life science activities in the Technion Technology Transfer office.
