Dr. Polo Sujov was born in Argentina and graduated from the National University of La Plata, Buenos Aires.
He trained at the Children's Hospital of La Plata, specializing in both Pediatrics and Neonatology.
Dr. Sujov immigrated to Israel in 1976 and joined the staff of the Rambam Medical Center.
He completed his training with a special program by the World Health Organization, visiting new born units in London, Liverpool, and Bristol, and the National Epidemiological Center in Oxford.
Since 1989 he has served as Director of the Department of Neonatology. His main research and clinical interests are neonatal infections and epidemiological studies.
