Dr Moshe Stein is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine affiliated with the University of Vienna, Austria. He started his specialization in Therapeutic Radiology at the Department of Radiation Therapy and Radiobiology at the University General Hospital of Vienna, and then trained in oncology and radiotherapy at Rambam Medical Center. He spent a sabbatical at the Johannesburg Academic Hospital (medical oncology, hematology and bone marrow transplantation) and at the Department of Clinical Oncology and Radiation Therapy at the Oldchurch Hospital, Romford, United Kingdom. He also completed brief fellowships at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, and at a Viennese Hospital (palliative oncology and cancer pain control).

Since 1989, Dr Stein has been working as a specialist in oncology at Rambam Medical Center.
His main clinical interests are radiation therapy in solid tumors and lymphomas, mycosis fungoides, Kaposi Sarcoma, palliative oncology and cancer pain control.
He has published about 140 peer-reviewed clinical studies. He also published a chapter (Radiation Therapy in Prostate Cancer) in a European Urological Textbook.
