Dr. Irit Scharf Meretyk is a graduate of the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem and of the Psychiatric Residency Program of Talbieh Hospital, where she served as head of a community rehabilitation center.Dr. Meretyk has been working at Rambam Medical Center since 1997 as Head of the Emergency Psychiatry Unit in the E.D. and Head of the Psychiatric Evaluation Unit for the Ministry of Defense.She specializes in Emergency Psychiatry and Trauma.
