Dr. Shmuel Rispler received his M.D. cum laude and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He is also certified by the US Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Rispler is the Founder and Director of Rambam Medical Center's Heart Failure Clinic, with its outpatient clinics, day care hospitalization and consultation services. He is also the Director of Rambam's Community Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, and a cardiologist in the hospital's Nuclear Medicine Department.
Dr. Rispler was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Cardiology, Stanford University School of Medicine, and a Fellow at the Nuclear Cardiology Program, Baptist Hospital, Miami, FL. He has contributed to the development of novel hybrid SPECT/CT cardiology. Dr. Rispler specializes in acute coronary syndromes and acute heart failure in collaboration with the Cardiology Intensive Care Unit. He is a member of the American Physicians Fellowship for Medicine, the International Society for Heart Research (European Section), and the Israel Heart Society.
