Dr. Gabriel Nierenberg trained in Orthopedic Surgery at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. He currently practices Arthroscopic Surgery, Sport Traumatology, Ligament Reconstruction and Joint Reconstructive Arthroplasty.
He is a graduate of the A.O. International Clinical Training Program in Trauma and Fracture Surgery at the Mediziniche Hochschule in Hannover, Germany. He also completed a clinical fellowship program at the Austin & Repatriation Medical Center in Melbourne, Australia in the field of Sport Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy.
Dr. Nierenberg completed a subsequent clinical fellowship at the European Society for Sport Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy ESSKA at the University Hospital in Ghent, Belgium, in the field of Allograft Transplantation.
Dr Nierenberg is involved in a biotech tissue engineering project regarding cartilage tissue transplantation. He is an active member of ESSKA as well as a member of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International.
