Dr. Nael graduated from Hadassah Medical School of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and completed his pediatric training in the pediatric ward at Bni Zion Medical Center. Dr. Nael completed his pediatric pulmonology fellowship in1999 at the pediatric pulmonary division of this institute and since then has served as a senior pediatric pediatrician at the division. Dr. Nael also completed a two-year basic science research fellowship at a research institute of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. During this period he worked on the cellular mechanisms of clearance of fluids from the lung airspaces.
Dr. Nael has been actively participating in the clinical research conducted at the division, in the areas of asthma and cystic fibrosis.
