Professor Murinson specializes in peripheral neuropathy (including diabetic and chemotherapy induced), neuropathic pain, back problems, and neuromuscular disorders. Her B.A is from Johns Hopkins University, M.S from University of California, M.D, PhD from University of Maryland, she did her Residency in Neurology at Yale University and Fellowship in Peripheral Nerve and Electrophysiology at Johns Hopkins, where she joined the faculty in 2002. Dr. Murinson teaches in the Technion, School of Medicine, Israel and in Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USAShe directs a laboratory research program at Rambam Hospital, her research directed toward understanding degenerative disorders of the peripheral nerve. She was recognized with the “Top Doctors” award in 2007. She was interviewed as an expert neurologist by ABC News and is on editorial board member of the journal “Pain Medicine”.
