Dr. Eedy Mezer graduated cum laude of the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and trained in Ophthalmology at Rambam Medical Center.
Dr. Mezer completed a matched fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and in ophthalmic genetics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, affiliated with the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Mezer currently coordinates the Pediatric Ophthalmology Service in the Department of Ophthalmology at Rambam Health Care Campus. Dr. Mezer was also appointed adjunct lecturer at the Technion.
He is an active member of the Israel Ophthalmology Association, the Pediatric Ophthalmology Society and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
Dr. Mezer's main research and clinical interests are in the fields of blinding hereditary ocular disorders as well as in refractive errors and strabismus.
Dr. Mezer is an editorial member of the Israel Ophthalmology Association Journal and a serves as an expert reviewer for Israeli and European medical journals.
