Dr. Merom is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Pavia University in Italy.
he trained in orthopedic surgery at Rambam Medical Center and completed a clinical spine surgery fellowship at Queen Mary and Duchess of Kent Hospitals in Hong Kong. Dr. Merom also completed a post graduate combined neurosurgical and orthopedic clinical spinal surgery fellowship at Austin and Royal Melbourne Hospitals in Australia.

Dr. Merom is a member of the Israeli Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a member of the Israeli Spine Society. His main research and clinical interests are in the field of minimal invasive spine surgery.
