Dr. Lerer-Amisar is a child and adolescent psychiatrist.
She graduated from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 1991 and completed her training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Rambam and Geha Medical Centers.
Dr. Amisar sub-specialized in Infant Psychiatry at Geha, Ramat-Hen and Schneider hospitals.
She completed post graduate continuing studies in child and adolescent psychiatry and in infant psychiatry. She also graduated from the School of Psychotherapy at Haifa University and is a certified psychotherapist.

In 2003, Dr. Amisar implemented an Infant Psychiatry Service, and has served as its head since then. Dr. Amisar takes part in multi-disciplinary committees, dealing with prevention and treatment of mental problems in young children.
