Uriel Kleinhaus MD

Dr. Uriel Kleinhaus is a graduate of the Hebrew University and Hadassah School of Medicine, Jerusalem.
He is Clinical Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and former (retired) chairman of the Department of Radiology, Rambam Medical Center.

Dr. Kleinhaus completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Rambam Medical Center in 1973.
His main area of expertise is imaging of the abdomen and gastrointestinal system.
He completed a fellowship at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital - Harvard School of Medicine, Boston, in this subject and was a visiting professor at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Kleinhaus was one of the first to implement body Computed Tomography and computers in radiology (RIS – Radiology Information System, PACS – Picture Archiving and Communication System) in this country.
Dr. Kleinhaus continues clinical (part time) work and teaching in the Department of Radiology.
