Professor Ehud Klein is a psychiatrist who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He completed his professional training in Psychiatry at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa and was a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland .
After his return to Israel, Professor Klein served for several years as Deputy Chairman for Research and Academic Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry at Rambam, and in 1993 was appointed as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry.
In addition to his position as Chair, Professor Klein is an active research scientist. The focus of his research in recent years has been traumatic stress in general and post-traumatic stress disorder in particular. He is also studying transcranial magnetic brain stimulation.
Professor Klein is the recipient of numerous research grants and has published extensively in leading journals in his field
