Dr. Boris Kessel is a graduate of the Military Medical Academy of Leningrad, USSR (1972).
He specialized in surgical corneal procedures at the Fyodorof Institute, Post-graduate Academy of Medicine, St.Petersburg.
He completed a Surgical Fellowship (corneal disease) with Prof. Isaac, Slovakia (1999).
Since 1999, Dr. Kessel has been a staff ophthalmologist at the Department of Ophthalmology, Rambam Health Care Campus.
His main clinical interest lies in the field of non-perforating corneal grafts.
