Dr. Dann is Director of the Blood Bank and Aphersis Unit and a Senior Lecturer at the Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He received his MD from Hadassah Medical School at Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine and hematology at the Hadassah University Hospital, Hadassah Ein Kerem, in Jerusalem. He completed his clinical and research fellowship in hematogy-oncology at the University of Chicago (Chicago, IL, USA).

Dr. Dann is a member of the Israeli Society of Hematology and Blood Banking as well as the American Society of Hematology. He is an author or co-author of more than 50 scientific articles. His main research interest focuses on tailoring therapy for Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin Lymphoma aimed to minimize late adverse effects. Other scientific interests of Dr. Dann include methods for optimizing blood product supply to trauma victims and the role of photopheresis in therapy of graft-versus-host disease.
