Professor Hammerman has served as Head of the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit since 1990.He graduated from the Hebrew University and trained at Rambam Medical Center, Haifa and at Harvard University, U.S.A.Prof. Hammerman's interests encompass the entire range of cardiology, with a special interest in acute cardiac care, acute coronary syndromes and complex cardiac problems.
