Dr. Carasso completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Rambam Medical Center. He also received training in Echocardiography at the Department of Cardiology at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Aviv, and in Echocardiography and Cardiomyopathies in the Division of Cardiology of the Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada. His specific interests include the use of new echocardiographic technologies for assessment of cardiac function (strain imaging, 3D echo), cardiomyopathies, and heart failure.
