Dr. Gad Bar-Joseph is a graduate of the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.
He received his pediatric training at Bnai Zion Hospital in Haifa and completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care at the Children's Hospital and Safar Resuscitation Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Bar-Joseph was the founding Chairman of the Israeli Society for Pediatric Critical Care, and is Chairman of the Medical Ethics Committee and of the Resuscitation Committee at Rambam.
His main research interests are acid-base considerations during CPR and pediatric trauma.
