Dr Arie Ariche is the Director of the Hepatobiliary Surgery Service. He graduated from the Universite Rene Descartes Medical School in Paris, and is a member of Professor Henri Bismuth’s Compagnons Hepato Biliaire. Dr. Ariche trained in General and Vascular Surgery at Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva, then spent two years in Paris as an assistant to Professor Henri Bismuth where he trained in liver and biliary surgery as well as liver transplantation.
Dr. Ariche has participated in the publication of thirty medical articles and two book chapters. His main research interests are transplantation of stem cells into the liver, and factors affecting regeneration after large liver resections.
