Dr. Abboud has worked in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic of the Cardiology Department since 1987. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and specialized in Internal Medicine at Rambam Healthcare Campus.

Dr. Abboud is a member of the Israeli Heart Society, and the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EACPR) of the European Society of Cardiology. His main scientific interests are exercise testing, secondary prevention and risk factors modification in patients after acute myocardial infarction.
