Synergy of collaboration is an important component in Rambam's success where expertise
and clinical data are shared, optimizing the tasks of medical specialists and enabling
individualized health care.
Two other world-class facilities are located on the site of Rambam Health Care Campus:
The Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine and The Rappaport Family Institute for
Research in the Medical Sciences. Together, these three institutions routinely cooperate with each other in patient care, education, and research. The synergy among them has nurtured Israel's first two Nobel Laureates in Chemistry, Profs. Avram Hershko and Aaron Ciechanover, and has distinguished Rambam Health Care Campus internationally for breakthrough advances in stem cell research, human population genetics, and hybrid imaging.
The centerpiece of this unparalleled collaboration is the construction of the Biomedical
Discovery Tower which will offer vastly expanded opportunities for clinical research leading to invention, and will have the power to yield additional groundbreaking results for 21st century health care.
