MONTREAL – Molecular geneticist and nephrologist Prof. Karl Skorecki, Director of Medical and Research Development at Rambam, was hosted in mid autumn by Rambam's Montreal Friends, to whom he  brought firsthand news of our medical center's recent phenomenal growth both as a healthcare provider to the burgeoning population of Northern Israel and as a hub of basic-science and clinical R&D.

The event was attended by forty-five Jewish Community leaders and philanthropists. It was organized by Henri Elbaz, Emeritus Executive Director of Montreal's Jewish General Hospital, and Gabriel Soudry, Projects' Vice President of  Partenariats Public-Privé (PPP) Québec. Mr. Soudry is the brother of Prof. Michael Soudry, Chairman of the Division of Orthopedics and Director of Department of Orthopedics A at Rambam.
