Every great discovery begins with a vision. Every vision is rooted in the belief that we can improve our way of life. Such is the “Vision of Adam” that guides the Rambam Health Care Campus - RHCC. Adam: in Hebrew it means mankind.

The “Vision of Adam” encompasses a unique blend: excellence in medicine, leadership in scientific research and a commitment to professional education, all set within an advanced environment that is both aesthetic and supportive. It seeks to create an innovative constellation of caring, responsive to the physical and spiritual needs of all people, everywhere.

The Vision will strengthen the synergy among RHCC and The Technion’s Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, The Rappaport Institute for Research in the Medical Sciences and the future Biotechnology Incubator.

It was the Rambam (Maimonides), the great Jewish physician and philosopher Rabbi Moses Ben-Maimon, who first gave expression to our vision: “There is no separation between body and soul.” To body and soul, RHCC adds scientific expertise and a commitment to extending and improving life.

The “Vision of Adam” foresees the synergy inherent in technological progress, interdisciplinary interaction and human compassion - for the benefit of all mankind.
