IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Gaby Ashkenazi this morning (Tuesday), 1.6.10, at Rambam Hospital, visited three IDF soldiers who were wounded yesterday during the raid on the flotilla en route to Gaza. 

The three soldiers are hospitalized in the Surgical Unit in stable condition.  The IDF Chief-of-Staff wished the soldiers a speedy recovery and praised their actions.  He told them that having been wounded in the Yom Kippur War, and hospitalized at Rambam, he knows they are in good hands.
 
Lt.-Gen. Ashkenazi was accompanied by Rambam Director-General Prof. Rafael Beyar.
