RAMBAM holds its 5th annual course on HIV Medicine for medical practitioners from Africa in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry and UNICEF

Rambam Health Care Campus held its 5th annual course on HIV Medicine for medical practitioners from African nations this month. The course was organized in cooperation with Israel's Foreign Ministry and the hospital, and is supported by UNICEF (The United Nations Children's Fund).
The professional program was designed and run by Dr. Margalit Lorber, the Director of the Unit for Auto-Imuune Diseases at Rambam Health Care Center. Dr. Lorber also instructed parts of the course.
The physicians spent an entire day touring the Meyer Children's Hospital Facility and participated in lectures given by Varda Sivan, Chaya Langut (head nurse, pediatric cardiology), Sharon Zlutnik (occupational therapist) and medical clowns.
