Rambam-Spanish TV Project
Prof. Norberto Krivoy, Rambam Coordinator, greets one of the Spanish physicians arriving at the hospital.
This week saw the opening of the Rambam-Spain Project, a program initiated by the Spanish Tesauro TV, in which five young Spanish physicians are attached to five senior Rambam physicians for a period of three months. The Spanish physicians, three males and two females, elected to accompany the Israeli physicians in Orthopedics, Laparoscopic Surgery, Anesthesiology and Imaging. The time spent here will be considered toward their Residencies. The special feature of this program is that a TV crew will escort the Spaniards, making the Israeli experience into a reality show. The initiator of the project, Mr. Herve Hachuel Collett, expects the program to be sold and broadcast throughout South America and Europe, and claims that it has the potential of improving relations between the Latin world and Israel as it introduces viewers to the positive aspects of Israel.
