On February 8, 2007, a support meeting was held at the Spencer Auditorium for 70 patients suffering from chronic pain.

The meeting was arranged by Tziki Adler RN and Dr. Elon Eisenberg from the Pain Relief Clinic, backed by Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company.
The idea for such a support meeting arose from a desire to give chronic pain sufferers a feeling that they are not alone. The meeting was meant to help patients and their families to cope with chronic pain and its consequences, and to allow those affected to express themselves.
In addition, the meeting enabled patients to receive information on medical treatments, their rights in various areas, and the possibilities of establishing a lobby of chronic pain sufferers to work in the diplomatic arena to reduce the cost of medications and treatments.
