Next week, 36 senior physicians from hospitals in the Veneto region of Italy [near Venice] will be coming to Rambam Health Care Campus to attend a course on Mass Casualty Situations and Trauma, Information, Technology and Telemedicine, being held from May 27 to June 14.

The Italian physicians will learn how to organize a trauma system in their hospitals, with emphasis on readiness for mass casualty events. This is the second such course to be held at Rambam, and the 11th course organized by The Teaching Center for Trauma, Emergecy and Mass Casualty Situations, solidfying Rambam's place as a world leader in trauma teaching.
