Naim Attala is a sweet 10½ year old boy from the lower Galilee village of Yarka. Naim was born with a genetic disorder that gave him crumbly bones. He has had more than 270 fractures of his arms and legs! Dr. Mark Eidelman, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at our Meyer Children's Hospital, has been taking care of Naim for seven years. Last week, thanks to complex surgical procedures and treatments, Naim stood on his legs for the first time in his life. He and his family could not hide their great joy when he took his first steps.
